		<description>I didn't know &lt;a href="http://wix.sourceforge.net/"&gt;WiX&lt;/a&gt; until your comment. I have only used &lt;a href="http://nsis.sourceforge.net/"&gt;NSIS&lt;/a&gt; in my entire life. It is indeed a new programming experience, but it works. The experience this compiler (I could name it) has is a good proof of how solid this is. There's also a huge number of applications using it.

I have taken a look over it (and it's features/bugs database). What I've noticed from a quick glance are the following:
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;there's an entry in the bugs database which asks for localized interface - we already have that in NSIS and the installer also uses localized strings - thanks again to the translators&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;even though XML is really cool, it can be a bit difficult to read compared to any script language (such as NSIS) - it is good for defining static data, but a big part of the Psi installer is code-only&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;


These are my first thoughts... I'll keep an eye on it.</description>
